Grateful in all things

I was driving home tonight, reflecting on my day.  My meditation earlier today was startlingly beautiful (I shared my revelations from it in my prior post, Momentary Enlightenment).  I completely lost track of time … I was in a space of Nirvanic bliss; listening, blending, talking, and being with God.  I was amazed to find that a couple of hours had gone by.  Amazing.

On my way home, as I reflected and connected consciously with God, I felt God say to me,

“You see?  You would not be at this place if not for everything you went through.  The horrors you endured, the tears you shed … the moves, the loved ones lost, the broken hearts … if any one of those things hadn’t happened … you would be in a different place.  Everything that has happened has led you to this place … would you trade it for anything else?”

No … I wouldn’t.

Not that I wouldn’t want those loved ones back … or to have not gone through those horrors.  I would have loved for all of those things to never happen!  Where I am now though, I can look back and be grateful.  I am actually privileged … what I experienced has brought me to this intensely close relationship with God.  I am fulfilled.  I look around me … and I don’t see that for most people.  That is not said in judgement, or to try and make myself seem “better” … it just is amazing to me to watch all these people in the same state that I used to be in, for so long.

No matter where you are, or what you are going through … it has a purpose … believe it.  You will be that much closer to God for it.

I could be many other things, with so much less pain endured … and not be fulfilled.

God is good … and the things you might be going though now that feel torturous … they are opening doors for you to be that much closer to God.

Does anyone else out there have a similar experience or reaction??

Religion4All is an idea: that every human being (no matter their race, religion, sexuality, social status, lifestyle, or any other possible factor) is LOVED by God; just … as … they are.

We all are loved by God, and NO religion or person has a monopoly on it. Every single person on this planet is loved equally by God … SO many are cut off from God because they are told they don’t belong. God loves everyone … we ALL are beautiful creations … we don’t need to cringe when we hear the words “God”, or “religion”, or their judgments … God LOVES us all!

There is no requirement to change in order to be LOVED by God, or to LOVE God. God is LOVE, and LOVE is God … period. There is no one who God loves more than anyone else … there are only those who choose to LOVE more … to love God more, and consequently then to love each other more. In doing so, we grow closer to God … and know God.

By opening our hearts, and minds to God (free of boundaries like religion, or social trends); by LOVING God … we are exactly where we are meant to be. If we maintain that openness, never allowing any person or event to make us close our hearts, we will be guided by God to be who we are meant to be.

In that space of openness we can then live a life of LOVE, and be guided to where we are meant to be … forever in LOVE.

Yes, I too know those experiences. Much that is good has pushed its way though dark soil in my life too, and has produced the most beautiful flowers. Thankyou-a beautiful post.

Thank you for sharing, Stephanie … a beautiful visual. It certainly is an interesting experience; to look out over what once seemed barren, and see an ocean of flowers. May your field be full of flowers :-).
