Sliding Doors

In meditating on my prior post (Soulful Inspiration) I began to think not only about inspiration, but about the ways that we arrive at those places.

How many times do we find inspiration in life, and yet discard it as frivolous or a waste of valuable time?  If we look closely we can see it in retrospect.  A broken heart, a lost job, or any number of traumatic events can turn your world upside down SO much … that you actually find yourself considering these types of daily inspirations.  These things can lead us to change our lives in such ways that in a year’s time … your life isn’t recognizable.

The problem is that you are much more able to make rational decisions in your daily life than you are in a time of crisis.  In a time of crisis you could just as easily walk through a dark passageway, as a providential one.  If you take the time to delve into yourself, to work through your inner fears and demons, you can then begin to go through life OPEN … open to the divine opportunities that come to us in different ways most every day.

An “open” you could take the time to make a nice conversation with someone you normally wouldn’t have time for … and that then leads you to an amazing opportunity.  That’s only one, simple example … the number of “sliding doors” that open and close for us each day is simply mind-boggling.  Doors that should be avoided, doors that shouldn’t be missed … when you are shut down, you are just stumbling around.  You don’t know which one you might walk through.

When you are open, and connected to God throughout the day, you will feel prompted or guided in certain directions.  You might feel these normally, but you simply discard them because you are too busy with what you think is important.  When you open yourself to God’s guidance, you put yourself on the path to what is TRULY important.  You may not even realize how important it is until a few months down the road … when you look back and say, “Wow, all of this happened because of that one event on that one day!”

So what does all this have to do with Soulful Inspiration?  Well, Soulful Inspiration is just one of the many things that come about from being open to God … being open to God’s guidance.  The more you are open, the more you trust God, and the more God satisfies you … all of this leads you to the place where your soul is on fire with divine inspiration.

All you have to do … is take the time … stop running, and fighting yourself … go within; seek without ceasing until you free yourself to live in constant relationship with God.  Free yourself to find the Trust that your soul longs for, but you are too frightened to embrace.  Once you begin that Journey, your life will never be the same.

Religion4All is an idea: that every human being (no matter their race, religion, sexuality, social status, lifestyle, or any other possible factor) is LOVED by God; just … as … they are.

We all are loved by God, and NO religion or person has a monopoly on it. Every single person on this planet is loved equally by God … SO many are cut off from God because they are told they don’t belong. God loves everyone … we ALL are beautiful creations … we don’t need to cringe when we hear the words “God”, or “religion”, or their judgments … God LOVES us all!

There is no requirement to change in order to be LOVED by God, or to LOVE God. God is LOVE, and LOVE is God … period. There is no one who God loves more than anyone else … there are only those who choose to LOVE more … to love God more, and consequently then to love each other more. In doing so, we grow closer to God … and know God.

By opening our hearts, and minds to God (free of boundaries like religion, or social trends); by LOVING God … we are exactly where we are meant to be. If we maintain that openness, never allowing any person or event to make us close our hearts, we will be guided by God to be who we are meant to be.

In that space of openness we can then live a life of LOVE, and be guided to where we are meant to be … forever in LOVE.
